Been a quiet for a bit, so here's some news on the current happenings of the Squishrock!Character Voting Poll Standings
I meant to do this some time ago, but here's a list of the current standings of the current Patreon voting poll that I'm holding. Once again, the theme for this poll is "Shined on by the Blue CIT Lights". For those unaware of what CIT lights are, check out my recent LLT comic, "Shining Bright, CIT Lights." And now, the current standings:
Please be aware that these do not include the special Patreon votes, so don't get complacent as there's a very good chance that the final results will be turned over on it's head! The voting ends May 18, 12 AM EST. If you haven't voted already, please be sure to do so here.
Discount Commissions Slots
As stated above, I'll be opening some discount commission slots. For those that are new, in exchange for allowing me to include the commission in a future image pack, I give out discounts for ideas that fit a certain theme. The discount in question is $10 off (or more if you're a part of my Patreon), omitted backgrounds charges, as well as a free copy of the pack that the commission is included in, totaling at least a $30 in discounts! Furthermore, for a commission to be eligible for a discount, it must meet three criteria:- Must fit the theme that I announce when I open discount slots.
- Must be of Standard Shading Level.
- Must be allowed to be part of a commission pack that will be sold on my online stone. As such, commissioners may not post their commission anywhere online. Failure to follow this rule will result in the commissioner being unable to take part in future discounts.
Regarding Shading Options
In a previous journal, I'd added a couple of shading options as well as comic prices for commissions. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to remove those options. There's actually very little meaning in the colored sketch and greyscale shading options as the amount of time spent on artwork doesn't change much from regular shading or simple shading. As for comics, due to my view of how I want commissions to work on top of my head being full of personal comic ideas, it's just a bit too much for me. Sorry for getting people's hopes up.
Accepting Commissions Via Preference
So recently, I've been having a hard time when it comes to tackling commissions. There are times when I'll look at a commission list and a bulk of it just seems like a chore to do, which is very bad. Needless to say, if it ends up taking more time and effort than originally expected to complete (which happens very frequently), I end up feeling pretty irritated. And if I've spent way too much time on commissions and not enough time on my personal projects, the feeling tends to get even worse.So, in order to solve this and save myself some stress, I'll be accepting commissions based on preference (basically I'm gonna be more picky). I have some concerns about switching from a "first come first serve" basis, but hopefully this works out. I am concerned that there will be some people, even former commissioners, who's ideas just don't click with me, but at this point, I'm pretty much forcing myself to draw (which isn't really fun in the slightest).

Squish Drive: The Squeeze Bar!
Hey there, Oxdarock here! With the success of the Walk for Change project featuring Raiden Mei and Raiden Ei, it’s time for another Squish Drive! Que the clip! *Reads from right to left.* Thank you very much, Sizilan. That’s right! This time it’s as simple as it gets: seeing girls get big, horny, and milky! If you haven’t picked up on their outfits, the characters this time will become cowgirls! While the participants will become bigger with each stage, they’ll also become more anthropomorphic as well (though the editing team might be called up to adjust things for certain VIPs…). Their body types will vary as well, but that’s a surprise for later! As for what donors need to do, it’s simple! Donate, comment on which girl you want it to go towards, and you’re done! Squish Drive Walk of Change Bonus Rounds!
Hey there, Oxdarock here! The official goal for the Squish Drive Walk of Change has been reached! With that, I’ll be moving on to starting the next Squish Drive project! However, for those who want to see more of Raiden Mei and Ei, and/or want more surface area for their name on the “Thank You” picture I’ll be making, we have bonus rounds! These bonus rounds will be conducted the same as before: once a benchmark has been reached, I’ll extend it for another month after I complete the next picture. Once the month is up or all the goals have been reached, I’ll finally draw the “Thank You” picture and put a lid on this Squish Drive! For the most part, the bonus rounds will be the same as before: donors name the color(s) they want their donation to go to, as well as the TFs they want to boost according to this table. Squish Drive Info Going Forward!
Hey there, Oxdarock here! Whew! It took three months, but the last page of the Squish Drive “Walk of Change” is finally done! While the initial reception was good, the lack of donations afterwards made me a bit nervous. Fortunately, one particular philanthropic supporter went on to once again support the rest of the project. It both gladdens and scares me that one person would go out of my way to support my idea instead of getting a commission, especially one that didn’t have a fixed outcome. With that said, now that the goal has officially been reached, I have the green light to start up the next project! Unlike the last one, this one will have a much clearer goal in mind, and also be one that more people vibe with, with the only uncertainty being their interest in the characters involved (then again, that’s always going to be a thing with these, so…).
